Sinitta Monero is a British screenwriter, producer, and commissioning specialist known for her dark humour and sharp wit. She flips traditional narratives on their head, crafting bold, twisted stories that make people laugh while shining a light on life’s overlooked moments.

With over 15 years’ experience across film, television, education, and the cultural sector, Sinitta combines creative flair with strategic insight. As co-founder of It’s Fine Productions, she champions emerging talent, develops distinctive voices for screen, and leads pitches to broadcasters and streamers.
​
Her screenwriting spans both comedy and drama. Award-winning scripts include BOSH and Sara White and the Seven Socialites (British Urban Film Festival, Cannes Screenplay Contest). She created the web series Suffering (Black and Sexy TV), graduated from the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course, and was a finalist for 4Stories: On the Edge.

Current projects include work with Sharphouse Pictures, Liz & Will’s Kid Productions, Channel 4, Black Light TV, Tremelo Pictures, and writing room roles with Dark Wave Films, Big Deal Films, and the all-female #TellHerVision comedy room (ScreenSkills x ERA 50:50).​
Beyond the screen, Sinitta has led multi-million-pound programmes in education and inclusion, creating pathways for underrepresented creatives and building sustainable careers. Her consultancy spans script development, programme procurement, and creative strategy.
Recent work includes co-producing the Black Filmmakers Curriculum (BBC 1Xtra & Netflix) and contributing to Leytonstone Loves Film (Barbican).​
